Wisconsin Governor and Interim Ag Secretary Will Be Presenters on The Dairy Signal on Tuesday

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers and Interim Ag Secretary Randy Romanski will be the presenters on Tuesday's edition of The Dairy Signal, an online informational program coordinated by the Professional Dairy Producers of Wisconsin.They will talk about the state of the dairy industry in America's Dairyland and how it's been impacted by COVID-19 and the recent extension of the governor's stay at home orders. "Our dairy industry and lives are changing daily and our need for accurate business information is vital," said PDPW Director Shelly Mayer. "On the shoulder of successful dairy farmers rests a successful dairy industry sector." The weekly series of free educational episodes offering insight and resources for fellow dairy farmers and other food system professionals throughout the value chain are held on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
Wednesday's program will feature an updated market forecast and financial information by human resource consultant Liz Griffith and ag economist Dr. David Kohl of Virginia Tech University. Dan Basse of AgResource Company returns on Thursday with his perspective on the market for the weeks and months ahead. All episodes are free and available to the public, accessible from www.pdpw.org.
