COVID-19 Pandemic Update for the Afternoon of April 26th: Updated State Numbers and Another Death In Clark County

-Taking a look at the updated state numbers of coronavirus cases from yesterday afternoon, the state has 59,235 negative tests, 5,911 positive cases and 272 deaths.Of the positive cases, 1,397, or 24%, have been hospitalized. Clark County has 19 positive and 194 negative. For our neighboring counties, Chippewa has 20 positive and 909 negative, Eau Claire has 25 positive cases and 1,739 negative, Jackson has 12 positive and 254 negative, Wood has 2 positive and 389 negative, Marathon has 17 positive and 602 negative and Taylor still has no positive cases and 91 negative.
In case you missed it, Clark County did report another death due to the coronavirus, bringing the county total to 2. Marathon and Jackson Counties have had one person die due to the coronavirus as well.
