Wisconsin 4-H Foundation Supporting Statewide 4-H Programs

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The Wisconsin 4-H Foundation has awarded more than $280,000 to support Wisconsin 4-H programs.By partnering with individuals, corporations and foundations, the group provides essential funding for 4-H programming including support 4-H leadership, youth development and community-building activities throughout the state. Nearly half of the grant money was used for funding leadership programming such as Wisconsin Leadership Council, Wisconsin 4-H Youth Conference, international programs, community/youth partnerships and Citizenship Washington Focus.
Other programs getting financial support range from agriculture-related programs like Area Animal Science Days to judging contests and art camp. For over 100 years, Wisconsin 4-H has helped young people develop the skills they need to meet the demands of our complex and changing world.
