Look for the Helpers: Loyal School District

-“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’”Those are the inspiring words to Mr. Rogers from his mother, so we’re going to try and find the helpers. Today, we look at the Loyal School District. Loyal has been providing free meals to their students since the closure. They also have a drop box available for parents or students to drop off at home work they’ve been doing since the closure. They also donated Easter goodies to students and have been playing fun activities on Facebook. They’ve been sharing art, organizing video conferences so grades can see one another and say hello and much more. They’ve also been participating in the Friday Night Lights.
This may be a stressful situation for everyone, but we will get through this. Let's all work together and help each other along as we take the current situation day-by-day. And, if possible, make sure you continue to support our local businesses. They’re going to need our support now more than ever.
