Greenwood School Board Approves Several Items

-The Greenwood School Board discussed and approved several items at their meeting on Monday.The board received an update from administration on instruction during the closure. The board also received templates of Crisis/Situational Communications, completed a First Reading of Policy 0167.1 and received a template for Policy 8420.01. Administration will continue to develop this policy. The board also received a preliminary list of possible summer maintenance projects. The board also received a preliminary update on possible staffing needs for 2020-21. They have posted several positions including Title I Reading Teacher, Middle School Teacher, and Middle/High School Special Education Teacher.
Finally, the board approved the 2020-2021 Support Staff, Professional Staff and Substitute Teacher Handbooks and tabled a decision on 2020-2021 Wages and Salaries until the May Board Meeting.
