Administrators' Reports at Granton School Board Meeting

-The Granton School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting on Monday.Principal Amanda Kraus reported on Google Classroom. Teachers have been successful with student engagement. Zoom, Loom, Facebook and Google Duo are all being used to reach out to students. She also reported on educator effectiveness. With the E-Term they are able to continue on with their EE and adapt goals to their continued service of student learning. She then discussed Grading & E-term. The majority of the districts are using a Pass/Fail status with grading for the second semester.
She then discussed Graduation Requirements. A 15 credit minimum is being put in effect. Granton’s students are currently on track to graduate with their full credits as outlined by the school district. Finally, she stated they need to start thinking about the different possibilities for the graduation ceremony. If they postpone, set a summer date? She said this should be decided on at the May board meeting.
