Look for the Helpers: Clark County Health Department

-“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’”Those are the inspiring words to Mr. Rogers from his mother, so we’re going to try and find the helpers. Today, we look at the Clark County Health Department. Since the virus has made its way into the country, state and then county, the Clark County Health Department has been working diligently to keep the people of Clark County safe and informed. They have been spearheading the initiatives put in place on the state and federal level. They’ve also been accepting donations from generous community members and organizations and making sure the supplies get to where they are needed. The staff at the Health Department has been putting in long hours for the benefit of the people of Clark County.
This may be a stressful situation for everyone, but we will get through this. Let's all work together and help each other along as we take the current situation day-by-day. And, if possible, make sure you continue to support our local businesses. They’re going to need our support now more than ever.
