Wisconsin Economic Development Looking for Those Able to Make PPE

-The Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation is asking for help in locating those that are able to or are already making Personal Protective Equipment or PPE.They recognize that local connections are happening daily and there’s been some amazing media coverage of these activities. The following links are intended to meet the PPE needs identified by SEOC, or State Emergency Ops Center, that tracks demand from many sources, including WHA and the county emergency response channel. For any lead that has available inventory or is currently able to manufacture or source PPE, please provide them with the link: https://covid19supplies.wi.gov/Donations. For shields, UW-Grainger has quickly prototyped and is in production, working closely with Midwest Prototyping and others to matchmake and supply shields. Please use the link to ensure they continue to scale and leverage an existing ecosystem: https://making.engr.wisc.edu/shield/ Any lead that doesn’t necessarily fall into the above categories such as ventilators or even facility providers, like construction, architect firms, etc., please send info to the WEDC. They are not at the point of needing facilities but they’ll keep these names on hand.
