Feb Average Price Received for Corn in Wisconsin

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The February average price received by farmers for corn in Wisconsin was $3.66 per bushel.

According to the latest USDA Agricultural Prices report, that was unchanged from January, but 20-cents above the same period a year earlier. Soybeans were $8.45 per bushel, down 18-cents from January and three-cents lower than the previous February. Oat prices averaged $3.15 per bushel. That was up 18-cents for the month and 13-cents higher for the year.

All hay prices in Wisconsin averaged $176.00 per ton in February, down $7.00 from January and $20.00 below February 2019. The alfalfa hay price averaged $184.00 per ton, down $7.00 from the past month and and $17.00 below than last February. The other hay price averaged $145.00, up $1.00 from January, but $34.00 below the 2019 price.
