USDA Announces March Federal Order Class III Price

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The USDA announced that the March Federal Order Class III price was $16.25 per hundredweight.That's 75-cents less than February's price, but $1.21 higher than March 2019. So far, the Class III price has averaged $16.77 during 2020, but is expected to go down due to the economic effects of COVID-19. The Class IV component price was $1.33 lower than last month at $14.87, and 84-cents less than last year.
Meanwhile, the Wisconsin all milk price for February was announced at $19.10 per cwt., down 30-cents from January's price, but $2.80 more than the same time a year earlier.
