Cows Killed in Barn Fire Near Boyd

-A barn fire near Boyd killed 50-60 cows early Wednesday morning.According to the Boyd Fire Chief, they received a call around 2:10am Wednesday morning of a large barn fire. The family was at home at the time and they, thankfully, were not hurt. However, 50-60 cows were killed, but some animals were able to escape.
The barn was fully engulfed when they arrived. The cause of the fire is still under investigation and no firefighters were hurt in the incident.
