Look for the Helpers: Natalyn Jannene

-“When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, 'Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’”Those are the inspiring words to Mr. Rogers from his mother. In this cycle of what seems to be doom and gloom news, we’re going to try and find the helpers. Today, we look at an individual from Abbotsford. Natalyn Jannene and her two children tried to spread some cheer around their neighborhood over the weekend. After using sidewalk chalk to draw a picture on their own driveway, they decided to draw on the sidewalks of their friends and neighbors. Natalyn said it was a little cold, so they didn’t get too far, but they were able to do nine driveways. They’re hoping it catches on and even though the “stay” is in place, people could still do their own driveways.
This may be a stressful situation for everyone, but we will get through this. Let's all work together and help each other along as we take the current situation day-by-day.
