Administrators' Reports at Loyal School Board Meeting

-The Loyal School Board heard the Administrators' Reports at their meeting on Tuesday.High School Principal Chris Linder discussed Nathan Harmon’s assembly and the activity day follow-up, the FFA livestock prep, the FCCLA regional awards, Solo Ensemble successes, Winter athletic awards and the Miron facilities study walk-thru. Interim Administrator Mark Lacke stated the school district received an unexpected $42K check from the City of Loyal when extra TIF #1 revenue was refunded. He also said they have Jr/Sr High principal interviews setup for next week but the recent limit on 10 person gatherings has caused them to scale down the interview team size.
For now, only 3 or 4 board members, 3 administrators and 2 staff members plus the interviewee will be present. Finally, Mr. Lacke stated that, with everything going on in regards to the coronavirus pandemic, he is proud to be part of a school staff who cooperates, listens, cares, suggests and finds a way to make an unthinkable situation work for the betterment of our students. He said they don't know what’s coming tomorrow, but together they’ll figure it out.
