Marshfield Clinic Health Systems to Start Distributing Over $400,000 for Community Needs

-The Marshfield Clinic Health Systems pledged they will start distributing over $400,000 to help address community needs.Those needs include food access, childcare, elder care, emergency transportation and more. They hope by providing these services, people will continue to self quarantine and keep the virus from spreading further. One of the biggest reasons behind these measures is to keep the hospitals from being overwhelmed. They are already concerned about a possible shortage of ventilators for patients.
Approved individuals, groups or organizations that wish to apply can do so online to be eligible for the fund, you must be an approved 501(c) non-profit, local government agencies, public health departments and school districts. Non-501(c)'s may apply alongside those with the non-profit status for funding.
