REMINDER: Clark County Schools Closed, Many Providing Meals for Students

-Just a reminder that, that all Clark County School Districts are closed.

They are tentatively scheduled to reopen April 6th. Some district’s are providing meals for students including Neillsville. The district will be providing free lunch and breakfast for students 18 and under during the closure period. Meals can be picked up from 8am-9am and from 11:30am-12:30pm. Meals can be picked up at the same time, but they cannot be consumed on site. The Loyal School District will be providing FREE bag breakfasts and lunches each weekday, starting Tuesday, March 17 for any individual under the age of 18. You can pick up a bag breakfast and lunch at the following locations and times Town of Loyal, Township Hall 9:00 - 9:45; Town of Sherman, Township Hall 10:00 - 10:45; Town of Beaver, Township Hall 11:15 - 12:00; City of Loyal (Loyal Elementary) 12:15 - 1:00. When you get to your pick up location, a driver will hand you your bag filled with both breakfast and lunch. Please understand you will not be able to eat at the site or go into the building. The Greenwood School will also be providing breakfast and lunch at the elementary and Willard Community Center. The meals can be picked up from 7am-noon at the elementary and from 7am-10am at Willard Center. Again, the meals cannot be consumed on site. Owen-Withee will also provide breakfast and lunch free of charge to any student 18 and younger throughout the closure period.

Drive up/pick up of meals will be done at the gym lobby entrance. No meals will be eaten on site. Breakfast can be picked up from 7:30 AM - 8:30 AM. Lunch may be picked up from 11:30 AM - 12:30 PM. Both meals can be picked up at the same time if requested. If you ABSOLUTELY cannot pick up meals, or have someone pick them up for you, delivery will be available. The district CANNOT deliver 750 meals a day, so pick up is preferred. Thorp is also planning on serving meals to all students 18 and under during the closure. Students will be given both breakfast and lunch at the same time to take home. The Abbotsford School District is hoping to provide sack lunches to students during the dates of closure.
