Man Charged with Breaking Into Home Near Granton Sentenced

-A man accused of breaking into a home near Granton was sentenced in Clark County Court on Monday.According to court records, back in November of 2018, Nolan Whitegull broke into a home near the Village of Granton. He was accused of entering a child’s bedroom, shaking him and threatening to kill him if he moved or spoke. Whitegull was arrested for the incident and the children involved received medals for their bravery. Whitegull’s attorney and prosecutors were able to reach a deal and his charges were changed to misdemeanors.
Whitegull was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, two counts of criminal trespass to a dwelling, intimidate victim/dissuade reporting, resisting or obstructing an officer and disorderly conduct. He was sentenced to 3 years of probation.
