-A woman arrested after a high-speed chase in Black River Falls was sentenced in Jackson County Court on Friday.

According to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department, back in July of last year, deputies tried to pull over a vehicle, but the vehicle fled. The vehicle reached speeds of 90mph on city streets and over 130 mph on the highway. The vehicle was driven by Jeremy Peters. Theresa Hindsley was a passenger in the vehicle. Eventually, Peters did crash the vehicle and he was arrested after a foot pursuit. Hindsley was found guilty of, due to a no contest plea, possession of methamphetamine and two counts of resisting or obstructing an officer.

Three other charges were dismissed and read in. She was sentenced to one year of probation. Peters was sentenced at the beginning of 2020.
