March Neillsville Public Library Update

Monday, March 16th, 2020 -- 10:12 AM

-The Neillsville Public Library has a lot of great events happening in the month of March.

Coming up on March 25th, the Solo Ensemble Choir students will be performing at the library at 2pm. The Band Solo Ensemble will be coming on a Saturday in March to perform as well. Also, on March 26th, the library will be having a book tasting. It will have a St. Patrick’s Day theme with “Books are More Precious than Gold.” People will be able to come in and have a 15-minute “taste” of a book at a special table in all different types of genres. They will then switch with their partner. The library will also continue to showcase Neillsville Elementary and Middle School students’ art on display at the library.

The Summer Reading Program will begin on June 10th and will be every Wednesday at 1pm for kids ages 4-12. The theme is Imagine Your Stories and there will be many fun activities and shows. The summer Story Hours will be every Thursday morning at 10:30am for ages 3-6. Finally, people can participate in the U.S. Census at the library. There will be a computer set up for residents to answer the Census questions and library staff can assist. You don’t need a library card to do so, it’s open to everyone.
