More Invasive Carp Caught in the Mississippi

(WRN) -Commercial fishermen recently netted 51 Asian carp from the Mississippi River near La Crosse and Trempealeau.It's the largest catch of the invasive fish to date in Wisconsin or Minnesota waters.
Ben Larson of the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources said in a statement released Friday that the 40 silver carp and 11 grass carp is the largest congregation of invasive carp seen this far upstream, and heightened fears the destructive fish could be reproducing in the region.
