Administrators' Reports at Greenwood School Board Meeting
Friday, March 13th, 2020 -- 12:57 PM
-The Greenwood School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting on Monday.District Administrator Todd Felhofer provided a legislative update. He stated that Governor Evers vetoed a plan passed in the Legislature for spending some anticipated surplus funds. There appears to be little interest in compromise. Looking more locally, Mr. Felhofer stated that Parent-Teacher Conferences were held on March 2 at the middle-high school, Juniors took the ACT exam on March 3rd and the school district now has a police band radio in each school to increase law enforcement response time in case of an emergency situation.
This was a joint effort of the Greenwood Police Department, Clark County Sheriff’s Department and the School District of Greenwood. Finally, he stated that Crisis Response media releases are being developed. They will be presented at the April board meeting.
