Slim Agenda at Neillsville's City Council Meeting

-It was a very slim agenda for the Neillsville City Council at their meeting yesterday evening.The council heard the Report of Officers. For the month of February, the Neillsville Police Department had 66 cases/incidents, 47 service calls, 30 traffic citations, 61 traffic warnings, 3 crash investigations, 47 ordinance citations, 9 adult arrests, 2 cases referred to the district attorney’s office, 8 juvenile cases, 36 parking citations and 1,073 business checks. The council also heard the Public Works Report. The usual amount of work was done in the city including cemetery and parks maintenance, a burial, equipment maintenance, trimming and pruning trees, snow and ice removal and salting and sanding.
They also did some brush chipping and removed some trees, they maintained street lighting, filled pot holes, hauled brush and compost, burned the brush pile and opened storm drains. They also did some sewer plant and lift station maintenance, read meters, did some meter change outs and are starting to add radio readouts.
