Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce Announces Crystal Apple Award Winners

(Hub City Times) -The Marshfield Area Chamber of Commerce & Industry has announced its Crystal Apple Award winners for 2020.The announcements were made in the teachers’ classrooms on March 3rd. Among this year’s winners is the second two-time Crystal Apple Award recipient, Auburndale Ag Instructor Mark Cournoyer. Also named as a 2020 Crystal Apple Award winner on March 3 was Melissa Stockheimer, a math teacher at Marshfield High School. Meanwhile, both Pittsville teachers who were nominated for Crystal Apple awards this year won them, Ty Natzke from the Pittsville Elementary and Middle Schools and Pittsville High School English instructor Chauncey Jones.
They’re among two dozen Teachers of Distinction who will now be recognized at a banquet April 29 at Hotel Marshfield. The other Teachers of Distinction for 2020 include Patricia Silva and Beth Weiland of Columbus Catholic, Renee Hammond of Immanuel Lutheran, Michelle Korth of Trinity Lutheran, Rebecca Whitrock and Jaki Winch of Grant Elementary, Brian Fravert of Lincoln, Katelyn Vroman of Madison, Kelly Voss of Nasonville, April Daul from Washington Elementary, Becky Linzmeier and Kimberly Kolstad of the Marshfield Middle School, and Chuck Treankler of Marshfield High School.
Other Teachers of Distinction include Jenny Werner from St. Joseph’s in Stratford, Whitney Eckes and Saydi Olson of Spencer, Loralei Berry of Auburndale, Michelle Erickson and Jenny Hafermann of Greenwood, and Bethany Franklin of Granton. The Marshfield Chamber received 1,171 nominations for 310 different teachers. Qualifying nominees were placed on a ballot and teachers voted on their top candidate at each of the schools.
