February Federal Order Class III Milk Price

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The USDA announced that the February Federal Order Class III price was $17.00 per hundredweight.

That's just a nickel less than January's price, but $3.11 higher than February 2019. For the entire year of 2019, the Class III price averaged $16.96. That's compared to an average of $14.61 during all of 2018 and $16.17 in 2017. The Class IV component price was 45-cents lower than last month at $16.20, but 34-cents more than last year.

Meanwhile, the Wisconsin all milk price for January was announced at $19.40 per cwt., down $1.90 from December's price, but $3.20 more than the same time a year earlier.
