Thursday, March 5th, 2020 -- 9:29 AM
(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -Agriculture students who are interested in running for state FFA office may want to attend a conference next month at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.The school's collegiate FFA program will be hosting the Southern State Officer Candidate Kick-Off, or SOCK meeting, on April 25 from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Organizers say the event is a great way for students to learn what state office is all about and learn how to prepare for the process. FFA Alumni, current ag teachers, and collegiate FFA members will also hold mock interviews for the students to participate in.
There is no cost to attend the conference and lunch will be provided. For more information or to sign-up, email the UW-Madison Collegiate FFA at: [email protected].
