Local Students Receive Youth Pig Project Scholarships

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The Wisconsin Pork Association has announced the winners of its 2020 youth pig project program.This year, 46 scholarships were presented to 4-H and FFA members in the amount of $50 each to be used for their swine projects. Some local recipients include Zachary Magnus of Neillsville and Raiden Jacque of Thorp. The Wisconsin Pork Association Youth Committee developed the program to assist youth in developing pork production projects.
The committee wanted to enhance project development, while hoping to educate more youth on careers available within the Wisconsin pork industry.
