(WRN) -A State Appeals Court has thrown out an order to purge 200,000 voters from the elections rolls. The appeals court in Madison has struck down a ruling from Ozaukee County Judge Paul Malloy that would have forced the state Elections Commission to remove 200,000 registrations from the voter rolls. That lawsuit was filed by the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty last year.
The judges also tossed out a finding of contempt against the elections commission by Judge Malloy for not moving fast enough on purging those records.
