(WRN) -The Wisconsin Elections Commission has identified 10 computers in six communities that aren’t up to date, thus susceptible to hacking. The commission is warning those communities but hasn’t named them. More than one million dollars was recently made available to clerks needing to upgrade their computers, but not all local officials took advantage of the opportunity.
The next step would be for the state commission to name the communities which are failing to keep their equipment up-to-date.
