Neillsville School Board Hears Administrators' Reports

-The Neillsville School Board heard the Administrators’ Reports at their meeting on Monday.

Elementary Principal Marcy Kunze reported on attendance, Read Across America, an author visit, oral health, student council items, Family Fun Night on March 20th and professional development. Middle School Principal Kory Poeschel reported on attendance, a middle school newspaper, the Warrior Wrap-up, the spelling bee held on January 23rd, solo & ensemble held on February 15th, character trait of the month, a service project and middle school week. High School Principal Craig Anderson reported on attendance, scheduling for 2020-2021, Academic Awards Ceremony on March 11th, update from the agriculture classroom, update from vocal music, update from instrumental music, guidance office and ACP updates and many events going on at school.

Finally, District Administrator John Gaier reported on a thank you card, a reminder of the annual Legislative Dinner, minutes from the CWETN District Administrator Meeting, courses offered from Chippewa Valley Technical College, an article about efforts to slash the federal education budget, an email regarding the Governor’s Press Conference, a press release from The Association for Equity in Funding, a statement from Wisconsin Rural Schools Alliance, a letter from the School Administrators Alliance, a Policy Brief: Tougher on Taxpayers, an email regarding new laws related to dyslexia and special meeting notices, a Mental Health Navigator flyer and an article on Wisconsin students’ college readiness.
