Neillsville School Board Approves Summer School Courses

-The Neillsville School Board approved the summer school courses at their meeting on Monday.Summer School classes will be provided from June 8th to July 13th from 8am-Noon. Breakfast and lunch will be provided to students at no cost as well. A wide variety of courses for all age groups will be provided. The board also approved the CESA Contracts for the next school year and they approved a field trip for the 7th grade class to the Festival of Nations in Minnesota. Finally, the board approved a donation of popcorn bags from Clark Electric and they heard an update on the facilities projects.
In employment matters, the board approved the retirement of Kathleen Watson from her food service position effective at the end of the 2019-2020 school year. The board approved the resignation of Jenna Pavlac from her teaching assistant position and Monika Luebke from her assistant volleyball coaching position. Finally, the board approved the hiring of Molly Dolle for a teaching assistant position and Hannah Engevold for a special education teaching position.
