Police Looking for Two Men Involved in Shooting in Abbotsford

(Marshfield News Herald) -Police are looking for two men after a shooting that sent a third to a hospital Sunday afternoon.The shooting happened about 1:10pm Sunday at Apartment 6D, at 409 Swamp Buck Drive, Abbotsford, according to the Colby-Abbotsford Police Department. The victim went to Aspirus Hospital in Medford with a gunshot wound and told Taylor County law enforcement officers he was shot in Abbotsford, according to police. The Medford Police and Taylor County Sheriff's departments put the hospital on lock down Sunday afternoon.
Colby-Abbotsford police, along with Clark County and Marathon County sheriff’s deputies responded to the scene of the shooting, according to police. Surveillance cameras showed Carlos Santiago-Gonzalez and Joennval Moctezuma-Torres leaving the shooting scene armed with handguns, according to police. Police are asking anyone with information on where Santiago-Gonzalez or Moctezuma-Torres are to call 715-223-2313.
