January Federal Order Class III Price for Milk

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The USDA announced that the January Federal Order Class III price was $17.05 per hundredweight.

That's $2.32 less than December's price, but $3.09 higher than January 2019. For the entire year of 2019, the Class III price averaged $16.96. That's compared to an average of $14.61 during all of 2018 and $16.17 in 2017.

The Class IV component price was five-cents lower than last month at $16.65, but $1.17 more than last year. Meanwhile, the Wisconsin all milk price for December was announced at $21.30 per cwt., down $1.10 from November's price, but $5.00 more than the same time a year earlier.
