Wedding Barns and Bar Close During the DNC

(WRN) -The on-going wrangling over wedding barns in Wisconsin could derail plans to keep Milwaukee bars open during the Democratic National Convention.A bill in the Wisconsin Legislature would allow Milwaukee to keep its bars open till 4:00 in the morning during the convention. It would also impose new regulations on wedding barns. The Tavern League of Wisconsin doesn't like that wedding barns let people to bring their own alcohol.
Top lawmakers in Madison say the wedding barn attachment could doom Milwaukee’s bar bill. Mayor Tom Barrett says he hopes that doesn’t happen.
