Jackson County Man Arrested for 6th OWI Has Charged Against Him Dropped

-A Jackson County man arrested in Black River Falls for his 6th OWI had the charges against him dropped on Thursday.According to authorities, back in February, they arrested 55-year-old Jeffery Klukas after they saw him driving erratically in a parking lot. He admitted to authorities that he had been drinking. Klukas has been charged with his 6th OWI and operating with a PAC, 6th offense. During a motion hearing on Thursday, the defense had several questions regarding the arrest of Klukas and the arresting officer was questioned.
In the end, they believe that probable cause was not found, so the charges should be dismissed. The state didn’t agree, but the judge felt that the motion was valid and the charges were dismissed.
