Fire Occurs at Power Pac in Marshfield on Saturday

(Marshfield News Herald) -A Fire occurred at Power Pac south of Marshfield Saturday morning.According to the Marshfield News Herald, a passerby reported a fire at Power Pac on South Central Avenue just before 7 a.m. Saturday. When firefighters got to the business, smoke was coming from the roof. It took firefighters less than 10 minutes to get the fire under control and contained to the HVAC system in the roof. No one was at the business at the time of the fire. The fire started in the HVAC system, but firefighters prevented it from spreading and damaging the roof.
The Marshfield, Lincoln and Richfield fire departments also responded to the fire, as well as the Wood County Sheriff's Department. In a Facebook post, Power Pac thanked first responders and the passerby who called in the fire. Because of the department’s efforts, Power Pac was able to open up as normal on Saturday.
