Solar on Schools Program Looks to Help 100 Schools go Solar

(WRN) -The Midwest Renewable Energy Association claims its "Solar on Schools program" will help 100 Wisconsin schools go solar.The soft launch announced Monday involves six schools in Madison, Merton and Eau Claire. Applications for the program are being accepted now. It includes a grant of up to 20-thousand dollars, an online resource center and technical assistance.
The Merton Community School District anticipates savings of more than 70-thousand dollars from the system which went online in November.
