Withee Village Board Discusses Community Development Block Grant Program and More

-The Withee Village Board discussed a Community Development Block Grant Program at their meeting on Monday.The agreement for the Administration of the Community Development Block Grant Program was approved. Also, revisions were made to the Withee Softball Association and Village of Withee softball park lease agreement. Clark County Sheriff Scott Haines thanked the village for use of their office for the northern office. They have now moved the offices to the Clark County Rehabilitation and Living Center. Sheriff Haines reported that they will change to one entrance at the courthouse and be hiring a security officer for that entrance. The board also approved Resolution 01-01-20 covering the accounting for the payments and withholding made by the Owen-Withee Police Commission.
Also, discussion was held on the OW Police Commission and future changes and the OW Police department has hired two part-time officers: Jacob Hogsted and Matthew Prein. Finally, operator licenses for Withee BP were approved for Wendy Massie & Candance Hubbard and Barbara Nelson was also approved contingent on obtaining the alcohol servers certificate.
