Tomah Man Sentenced for 10th OWI in Jackson County

-A Tomah man arrested for his 10th OWI was sentenced in Jackson County Court on Monday.According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, at the beginning of November, they received reports of a vehicle with a flat tire on the shoulder of I-94 in Jackson County. When officials located the vehicle, they could smell intoxicants and the driver, Jon Miner, had glossy eyes and slurred speech. He was taken to the Black River Memorial Hospital for a blood drive. During that time, he was incoherent and kept passing out.
Miner was found guilty of 10th OWI. Another charged was dismissed and read in. He was sentenced to 5 years in prison and 7 years of extended supervision. His driver’s license was also revoked for 2 years and he must have an ignition interlock device for 2 years.
