Marshfield Has $2 Million Powerball Winner

(WDLB) -Marshfield has a two-million dollar Powerball winner.A press release from the Wisconsin Lottery confirms the winning ticket was sold at Festival Foods, and was sold for Saturday's Powerball drawing. The ticket matched all five numbers but not the Powerball number. When the player bought their ticket, they added Power Play for one additional dollar, and that increases NON-jackpot winnings. So, simply by purchasing the Power Play multiplier, the player automatically doubled their win from one-million to two-million dollars, essentially turning one-dollar into one-million.
And for selling the winning ticket, Festival Foods will receive 40-thousand dollars. The Powerball jackpot continues to climb. The estimated jackpot for the Wednesday drawing is 258-million dollars, with a cash option of just over 175-million.
