December Federal Order Class III Milk Price

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The USDA announced that the December Federal Order Class III price was $20.45 per hundredweight.

That's $1.08 less than November's price, but $5.59 higher than December 2018. For the entire year of 2019, the Class III price averaged $16.96. That's compared to an average of $14.61 during all of 2018 and $16.17 in 2017.

The Class IV component price was 10-cents higher than last month at $16.70, and $1.61 more than last year. Meanwhile, the Wisconsin all milk price for November was announced at $22.40 per cwt., up $1.90 from October's price and $5.40 more than the same time a year earlier.
