Foxconn Pays Over One Million Dollars in Property Taxes

(WRN) -Foxcoon has paid the Village of Mount Pleasant more than a million dollars in property taxes for 2019.The $1,071,899 tax payment makes Foxconn the largest taxpayer in Mount Pleasant, the village said Monday.
Besides the tax payment, the village said it also received $7,325,050 as Foxconn’s first payment of special assessments to cover the cost of land acquisition in the project area.
