New Premier Scholarship Established

(Wisconsin Ag Connection) -The Wisconsin Rural Opportunities Foundation, Inc. has established a brand new scholarship program that will award a Wisconsin high school senior pursuing a post-secondary education up to $10,000.It's called the Premier Scholarship program. In addition to the individual award, the student's high school will also be eligible to receive a $5,000 grant to be applied to a STEM or agricultural project benefitting all students enrolled in the school. The student recipient must be a high school senior at one of Wisconsin's public or private schools, who has been living in rural Wisconsin for at least two years. Rural is defined as traditional rural areas and rural towns of 25,000 population or less.
The award will support tuition only, up to $2,500 per semester, for any post high school experience in Wisconsin and will continue as long as a 2.5 GPA is maintained. The deadline to apply is February 28, 2020. For additional information or to download an application, visit www.wrof.org
