Greenwood City Council Approves Members to Library Board

-The Greenwood City Council approved members of the city’s Library Board at their meeting on Wednesday.The council approved the appointment of Cheri Lenz and Stephanie Bieneck to the Library Board and a 3-year term renewal for Bernie Bock and Sylvia Weaver. The council also approved to table an action on two city wells and no action was taken on vacating the alley between Begley Street and Miller Street west of Hendren Avenue. The council also approved the recommendations from Public Works Committee to have the city crew do the street work, water and sewer work for TID 3 project.
Finally, the council tabled the Planning and Zoning recommendations to a future date and they approved the Park and Recreation Committee recommendations for the purchase of a Sensory Music Panel Drums Set and Adventure Tube Passage from Playworld for George Scherer Park.
