Thorp Man Facing Charges of Sexual Assault of a Child

(WQOW) -A Thorp man faces charges, accused of repeatedly sexually assaulting a child.Jacob Dietrich was charged Monday in Clark County. According to the criminal complaint, the victim, who is under the age of 11, told police the assaults had been going on since the summer. Police said Dietrich turned himself in on Sunday and admitted to touching the girl inappropriately.
On Tuesday, bond was set at $5,000 cash. He returns to court in late January. If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of 60 years in prison.
