Proposed Date for Governor's State of the State Address

(WRN) -Republican legislative leaders have proposed a date, for the governor's "State of the State."Governor Tony Evers had requested a joint session of the legislature on one of three dates next month, and Assembly Speaker Robin Vos and Senate President Roger Roth have invited him to deliver his address the evening of Wednesday, January 22.
Governors traditionally decide what topics they'll address in the State of the State, but this invitation from Vos and Roth contains a specific request, to hear the Democratic governor's plans to address workforce and employment issues.
