Winter Storm Warning Until 3 pm

The Winter Storm Warning has been extended until 3 pm today.Snow will continue to impact north-central Wisconsin today, heaviest across eastern Taylor County. The snow will begin to taper off across the area this afternoon as the winter storm finally departs. Additional snow accumulations through this afternoon will generally range from 1 to 4 inches along and north of Interstate 90 to around an inch or less further south.
Brisk winds shifting to the north and gusting to 35 mph could produce patchy blowing snow today, especially in north-central Wisconsin.
Impacts to holiday travel will continue but are expected to gradually improve this afternoon and evening.
