The Clark County Tourism Committee heard some updates from The Highground at their meeting last week.The Highground mentioned a special they’re running for Small Business Saturday and that the gift shop now extends to the second floor of their building. They also mentioned the upcoming Christmas Concert with Red Higgins on December 7th and they’re setting up their holiday lights. The lights will remain up until February. They also mentioned a survey people can take regarding a feasibility study for The Highground. This will give the park some guidance as the continue to move forward into the future.
They are also looking at hiring a Corporate Relations Manager to help them with their marketing. Finally, the mentioned just how many people the stone ceremonies bring in, their recent successful care package drive and the upcoming quilt raffle in December.
