Wisconsin Farmers Producing More Milk with Fewer Cows

(WRN) -Wisconsin dairy farmers are producing more milk with fewer cows.The latest numbers from the U-S Department of Agriculture show Wisconsin milk production was up about one-and-a-half percent last month, compared to October of last year.
That's despite a modest decrease in the size of Wisconsin's milking herd. Wisconsin is the nation's number-two milk producer behind California.
