Neillsville School Board Approves Early Graduation and More

-The Neillsville School Board approved an early graduation request at their meeting on Monday.

The board approved the early graduation of one Neillsville student and they approved the Achievement Gap Reduction Report as presented. The board also approved the budget modifications for 2019-2020 as presented, approved the donation of tomato cages to the agriculture department from Prince Corporation and approved the donation of no longer used weight room equipment to the Neillsville Fire Department. The board also heard an update on current and future construction projects, they approve a football co-op with the Granton Area School District and approved a cross country co-op with the Granton Area School District. In employment matters, the board approved the resignation of Kelsey Jelinek from her teaching assistant position and Ryan Hoffmann from his middle school wrestling coaching position.

The board approved the hiring of Jessica Calkins for a teaching assistant position, Jenna Pavlac for a teaching assistant position, Tricia Hausauer for a teaching assistant position, Allison Laufenberg for an elementary administrative secretary position, Carly Kuran for a prom advisor position, Jodi Stokdyk for a prom advisor position and Chelsea Opelt for a middle school track coaching position. Finally, the board approved the Memorandum of Understanding for Lee Ann Henchen as presented and approve a volleyball coaching bonus for Kate Mueller in the amount of $75.84.
