One Person Killed in One Vehicle Accident in Taylor County

-One person was killed in a one vehicle accident in Taylor County early Saturday morning.According to the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department, they received reports that a vehicle had struck a tree in a yard and laying overturned on its roof. The driver, 22-year-old Zach Smola of Medford, was found trapped in the vehicle unresponsive. He was taken to the Aspirus Hospital in Medford where he died from his injuries.
No other individuals were hurt in the crash. The sheriff’s department believes that speed and alcohol were factors in the accident.
