Marshfield Outdoor Aquatic Center Campaign Committee Looking for Families to Make Donations

(Hub City Times) -The Marshfield Outdoor Aquatic Center Campaign Committee is seeking 100 families to make donations to the Marshfield Outdoor Aquatic Center.The committee is asking families to pledge $1,000 over three years. Currently, 43 families have made pledges. The first 100 families will have the opportunity to be recognized on the Family Gathering Shelter and be the last group to jump into Hefko Pool for a summer party in 2020. As of Nov.6, $750,000 in pledge donations has been secured for the campaign. There are also several naming opportunities available, including the bath house, concession stand, lazy river, family recreational pool, play structure, waterslide, and the naming rights to MOAC.
The total cost of the new facility is $6,000,000. The city of Marshfield Common Council has committed $3,000,000 as a community challenge grant; they will match all gifts, dollar-for-dollar, up to that amount.
